Data controller: TerraNova SARL, Douala, Cameroon — [email protected]. This policy applies to the terranova.sarl website and to the app.terranova.sarl application.
1. Data collected
- Account: name, e-mail address, phone number, account type (client, seller, landlord, ambassador) and, for an agency, its trade name. Passwords are encrypted; TerraNova cannot read them.
- Visit requests: the property concerned, the requested date, the message you leave us.
- Properties listed by sellers: description, price, photos, location, land title number. The exact address, GPS position and title number are never shown to the public.
- Ambassadors: visit reports, photos and GPS position at the time of the report, to prove that the visit really took place on site.
- Preferences on your device: login session, display currency, report draft. They stay on your phone.
TerraNova uses no advertising cookies and no advertising tracking tools.
2. Why we use it
- To create and secure your account.
- To organise visits and contact you about them.
- To verify properties and fight fraud (fake sellers, double sales).
- To calculate and pay ambassadors' commissions.
Your data is never sold. Your contact details are not passed on to other users: exchanges between buyers and sellers go through TerraNova.
3. Technical providers
- Supabase: database and photo storage, servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt).
- Cloudflare: hosting and website security.
- Resend: sending alert e-mails to the TerraNova team.
- Google Fonts: displaying the typeface.
4. Retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. It is deleted at your request, except what the law requires us to keep (for example documents related to a transaction).
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or delete your account, by writing to [email protected] from your account's e-mail address. We reply within one month at most.
6. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS), data access restricted by security rules in the database, visit photos in a private storage area, administrators' actions recorded in a log.
